Gosh, I don't know and will be interested to hear what people have to say. But how FUN to have a date!!!!
-
Very very excited for you and your upcoming date. Personally, I don't think on the first few dates you need to lay everthing on the table. It's private information to be shared when you feel the time is right. You'll know that the time is right when your close enough to want to tell and not afraid there may be issues that surface if you do tell.
Have fun, enjoy and relax. Easy for me to say I know, I'm not the one going on a new date. Yippee for you.!!!
-
Thank you, both of you! "You know the time is right when your close enough to want to tell and not afraid there may be issues that surface if you do tell" Genius! Thank you too Ruthbru. I know you both think it's exciting, I'm trying to go with that!

Enjoy, have fun. See what happens. When is the Grand Event? What will you be doing?
-
The Grand Event will take place either tomorrow evening or Monday evening. ( I decide) We will be going to a Seafood restaraunt and then a museum! I'm keeping things mum regarding you know what.
-
That sounds like a fun date! Good luck to you, Bedo.....
-
What about, when the time comes for him to see your scar: "This is a scar from an operation I had in July. Nothing dangerous, it doesn't hurt" (unless it does)? 33% of all people (or more) get cancer some time in their lives, so it mustn't be all that dramatic? Good luck!
-
You go girl!!!!! Just make sure that the museum is open on Monday before choosing your night. Both restaurants and museums tend to close that day of the week.
Whatja gonna wear?
*susan*
-
Errrr WEAR! Yikes! I only have jeans! The grand event will take place over 2 days,; Tomorow dinner and then he wants to go to the museum on Monday. ( it is open
So that's a second date!?. What to wear what to wear... you are way to practical.... what to wear....
-
OK, I DO have new plum colored corduroy jeans almost velvet, and a cute ruffled top and kitten heeled boots and silver earrings. I have to pick up my favorite perfume. So fun! I dunno what I'm gonna wear on Monday. Maybe my pajamas Ha!
-
Your excitement is almost palpable and oh such a lovely breath of fresh air.
-
Oh.... don't pull out the new outfit for just one date. Date 1: Jeans with kick-ass shoes and the cute ruffled top. Date 2: velvety pants with a t-shirt and tailored jacket. Throw on a scarf with your ear rings and he will not be paying attention to his swordfish. :-)

He was really sweet and we went to a really nice restaurant. He is super smart, taught computer something at Stanford and UCLA so I am giving him to my friend Nancy for Christmas! She has a Phd in Math and I don't ever know what either of them is talking about, she wants to meet him and I hope it works out. So, it was fun and nice to be out again! He is a sweetie, but not for me, so keep that in mind, ladies, you and the guy may be great but you may be the one to break someone's heart. (Not really, not after one date for me )
-
But how fun to be asked!!!
and nice of you to share with your friend! If it works out for them, it will make a great story.
