Not sure if this is the best place to put this, but I can't really find anywhere else.

Anyone else trying after BC? I got the go ahead to try in April, but we waited till June. I got pregnant right away (the very first try) and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks on August 1st. Justttt a little devastated. Sigh.

So we've been trying again since the end of September (I had two regular cycles after the MC) but no dice so far. I'm starting to worry I may have low progesterone. Anyone in a similar boat or went through something similar?

I have an appt with my Oncologist next Friday so I can torture here about my hormones and testing. I just want to be ahead of the game and not be trying all this time and my body is just busy sabotaging it.

    Hi Erica/jcmercy,

Erica sorry for your lost. This is a theme of interest to me also. Most likely I will be on tamoxifen, which will prevent me from getting pregnant. Did your mo prescribe you tamoxifen, since you are er, pr +. I am trying to decide if that is the right course for me, since I would not be abe to get pregnant for five years.

Hi there! My Dr did prescribe Tamoxifen for me, but I wouldn't take it. She knew I wanted to get pregnant asap, so she said okay. I am currently 3 moths pregnant, but for me... I still don't plan on ever taking Tamoxifen. It's just not for me. I am currently 14 months cancer free (just had my last mammo in December).

    Hi Erica,

I am glad for you!! Did your MO performed the Oncotype test for you?

Yes, she did! I can't remember now what it was, but it was very low... pretty sure it was somewhere between 4 and 8.
