Blood Transfusion

I am due to start my 6th round of TCH regiment next week, and had to have 2 units of blood yesterday.  Has anyone else had to have a transfusion on this regiment?

    Although I was on the ACTH regiment, my doctor wanted to give me 2 units of blood during the first part of my treatment--I refused.

    after each of my last two treatments of TCH i had blood transfusions - 2 units each time.  i was really anemic.  after the transfusions i felt 100 percent better (as much as you can while on chemo).  my only complaint about the transfusions was that it took so darn long - 4 to 5 hours.
