Hi, I have just been diagnosed with BC and am trying to put together a list of questions for the BS.  We all have an idea of what we want to ask, but when we leave our appointment (even when we have a list) or days later we realize we need information or have a question about________ .  What question do you wished you'd asked? needed more info on.

Also, what question did you find most important?  Your help is greatly appreciated!

 Thank you.

(Please note:  I wanted to include this here, as well as, Just Diagnosed because there are some differences in our health care, etc.)

Not a question but just advice my oncologist gave me.  She said to listen to her and block out all others opinions about their treatment. She told me my hair would fall out and other people kept telling me oh they said that to me but it wont't happen.  Why are you taking that medication I am taking this.  I just listened to her and ignored everyone else.  The worst thing someone said to me was my cancer was nothing because I never threw up and was sick all day.  All the best to you.

For me it was very early on when I first found out I had BC...  I wish I would have asked for an Oncologists visit before I had a General Surgeon ask me what I wanted him to do. Knowing nothing about Cancer at the time, I could have then asked the Onco what I should do. Or even get refered to a Breast Cancer Surgeon for advise.

I had an older surgeon that thought people in the states were doing radical surgeries like a BMX with reconstruction for just a small tumor... yea pffft. Boy my tx would have been a lot different if I had someone qualified to talk to up front.

Thank you so much for the advise. I see the BS again on Dec. 19. I was supposed to have had an MRI after biopsy (Oct.4), but wasn't scheduled. Had MRI on Dec. 9. This has been a long process.
