Breast cancer and MS

On sept. 27 my neurologist that my copaxone wasn't working so we are going to try Tysabri . Oct 8th I was informed I have breast cancer ,DCIS, I had buried my dad that day . I haven't told my family yet because we have all been through a lot with my dad . I've been fairly strong ,but I'm having a pity party today . my family counts on me to be strong. I have been very blessed to diagnosed early with my MS and BC . When I talk to the surgeons and 2nd opinoin I hope to be re-charged. When does easier show up?

    Bernmatt: I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad and your diagnosis.This is tough news for anyone but doubly so for you on that day and you also have to keep your medical history in mind when deciding on treatment.

    There is a thread on MS and breast cancer, which was started by someone whos sister was diagnosed wtih DCIS and has MS like you. Hopefully you can connect with some of the women over there - see Multiple Sclerosis and Breast Cancer.
