From a friend's mother in law: I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me today, and we all could probably use more calm in our lives.

Some doctor on tv this morning said the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.

So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished so I have managed to finish off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, a pockage of Prungles, tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valiuminun scriptins, the res of the chesescke an a box a chocletz. Yu haf no idr how bludy fablus I feel rite now. Plaese sned dhis orn to dem yu fee ar in ned ov iennr pisss. An telum,u blody luvum.!!

Lago, you crack me up.  If I finished my unused meds, I wouldn't have nausea until I'm 90. Not nearly as much fun as you're having.

Well since I never used any of narcotics, nausea meds, anxiety meds or Imodium that had me get and still have some Nexium, diuretic and Carafate (lots of Carafate) left over I could have some real fun.

I would just be full of shit… both physically and philosophically (I should have never purchased the Imodium. I know I would be having the opposite problem.) Granted I might already be some of the latter.

Love this - thanks for the laugh!

I have quite a pharmacy going on here...I would guess more than 50 bottles of unused pills ranging from narcotics to steroids and everything in between. Party on.

The steroids were the first thing I threw out.  I hated those SOBs.

Hey ladies, chuckles from me reading these posts!  But to add a serious note, when it's time to say goodbye to the random leftover meds, people sometimes wonder what to do with them. Our county health department takes any meds for disposal. They'll take expired over-the-counter pills in their original bottles, but for prescription stuff, they want it out of bottles that identify med and patient, just dumped in ziplocs.  Then they incinerate it, I think. The idea is to keep it out of landfills and septic systems, and to discourage dumpster-divers from finding discarded narcotics. Just a thought, and keep on laughing...

My treatment center will take the drugs and dispose of them. I used to get my nuelasta shot at home. I would bring in the syringe for them to dispose.
