Anyone else with Primary Ectopic Axillary BC?

Hi all,(If I'm better of posting this in a different forum or listserv, please advise which one).

I'm trying to find other women who were diagnosed with IDC breast cancer in the armpit - not in the breast, to find out what your treatment plan was. My tumor was taken out Aug 30, path report shows hormone +, her -.  I just had bigger margins and lymph node dissection this past Mon Oct 10 and am hoping to find out the path results today.  There are very few published cases of this and no studies, so I'm not sure what the tumor board or an out-of-pocket second opinion would be basing their recommendations on.  So I'm trying to uncover women whose cases have NOT been published and have joined this discussion board or a listserv to see if I can find other women with my DX.  One case study 2005 mentions radiating the breasts, whereas my (future) radiation oncologist wasn't planning to, and the article said that even if lymph node negative, it would not be unreasonaly aggressive to do chemo anyway, given the proximity to the lymph nodes. In other words, location, locaiton, location makes a difference in the treatment plan according to this one article.  But that's just one case.  Thanks for listening, Biscottigirl
