mets to uterus?

My mom had breast cancer four years ago and has been on Arimidex (not Tamoxifen).  She is post-menopausal and recently had some bleeding.  She had a D&C yesterday and the pathology showed that her cancer had metastasized to her uterus.  Has anyone ever heard of this?  It seems to be extremely rare.  She has a CAT scan tomorrow and meets with her oncologist on Tuesday.

I'm so sorry you are going through this, Dawn.  These are Pubmed abstracts (all of single

cases) of breast cancer metastasizing to the uterus.  It does seem to be very rare.  Hugs to you.
