The Pink Media

I know a lot of people are sick of the media's misinformation and marketers stupid pink products.

I was astounded to read this article in The Huffington post. It is written by Lee Woodruff (Bob Woodruff's wife)

It was supposedly written in support of "Pink Warriors" for breast cancer month. I don't make the connection of this article to breast cancer month at all. Is it just me or do others find this completely insensitive and offensive? Considering that most of us are scarred from mastectomies or lumpectomies etc, I don't know what the heck the writer was thinking. Read some of the comments by readers of the article....I am so disgusted.

I have the same take on it as you.  What an offensive article.  It is offensive to me not just as a woman who's just had a mx (what does any of this have to do with my struggle).  It is offensive to me as a woman (why do breasts have to be treated so condescendingly and dismissively).  Hell, it is offensive to me as a person (why is breast lingo more important to talk about than, say, healthcare reform).
