Looking for BC doc in NYC

Hi this is Morgaine. I'm not sure whether I should post here but I'll try anything. I had DCIS in several areas in left breast and had mastectomy and immediate reconstruction in late 2007. At that time, i was being treated by Dr. J. and Dr. Song at University of Chicago (great docs).

My sister, who was stage IV, died earlier this year (January 2011) of breast cancer. She was a triple negative. My aunt also died of breast cancer in 2006.

Now i've just been told that I have DCIS in right breast (intermediate and high grade). I am going to do a mastectomy of right breast. But i'm going to do this in NYC and need a doctor. Any suggestions? I will not be doing tamoxifen.

Have u been tested for the BRCA genes? Your family history is very compelling, especially with your sister having had TNBC. I am sorry for your loss.

I have been tested and I am negative for any known breast cancer genes. But my current doc, Dr. J at U of Chicago, says this just means that something is going on and they don't know what it is. 

And just so everyone knows, I love my doc, Dr. Nora Jaskowiak, of University of Chicago. Why am I looking for a new doc? I live in New York. My sister is gone now and I just don't have the family support without her.
