Just wwatched Five and thought it was good. Do agree the they needed tpp be longer and give some more info. And what did happen to the dancer at the very end?

Her absence at the last scene leads the audience to believe that they had a daughter but she later died.:(

I watched Five and I think for what they could do on TV re: short stories of bc, in 2 hours that it was done well.  Sure, I think that some more background could have been better, but I got the fact that the dancer passed at the end when it was just the daughter and the husband (that story struck a chord, I felt for the dancer and her husband).  I tried to think of the movie at one point as if I was not a woman who had been thru bc.  I think then I would have thought it was well done and covered many bases/stories.  BUT, since I've had bc and know of the resonstruction options, etc I would have liked to of seen that discussed further.  All in all, I like it, & DVR'd it... and will probably watch it again at some point to see if it still hits me the same way.

I just watched this and I thought it represented various BC scenarios well in such a short amount of time.  Having survived BC and reconstruction, I could relate to many scenes in each story.  I was touched with Lili's story because the mom reminds me of my mom - strong and vocal on the outside, but very scared on the inside.
