Blisters
Just before finishing the first round of fractions, blisters began under my breast. the nurse said it was fine to use vaseline! Well apparently that recommendation was WAY WRONG - now instead of blister that would of healed days ago I have multiple sores and rawness. The nurse today couldn't believe that someone in their dept would of said to use vaseline. I said well she did, and she recommended that I just being to use it even though my skin was tolerating the rads beautifully - I didn't use anything until the blister appeared. I'm beginning to think she did it to create the blisters and sores - because I was doing so wonderfully! I can not wait to have this all behind me! The doc today Rx'd Domeboro soaks 30/mins 2x day & Silvadene 1% cream 2x day. Anyone had luck with either product?

Randy, I too had blisters and was prescribed the silver sulfadene cream. It works very well but can take a very long time to heal. Good luck with yours!
