Hair changes

New to this site.

Just finished a year of Herceptin treatments for her 2 positive breast cancer. Today will have port removal. Had 4 1/2 months of chemo, surgery and then radiation treatments.

So relieved that this year long journey is concluding with positive results.

Before I ask a question regarding any tips on hair changes and managing hair, I want to address anyone that is reading this note that is currently or is getting ready to go through a similar journey:

Remember that this journey will pass; you will get through it! Just hang in there.....I know, this is VERY hard to hear when you are actively going through it!
Deal with it in your own way. Everyone has their own way of coping and don't feel any stress on how you are dealing with it; you have enough stress as it is.......again, just take one day at a time and you will get through it.

Now......need some feedback on hair regrowth......of course, my hair is different after the treatment. Had nice straight, manageable hair...now it's thicker with some curl. Does your hair ever go back to the way it was and in meantime, what can I do to manage it......it's still short and it tends to "explode"

On the top when I dry it.....very full! I am using a hair product after drying it that tends to make if lay down a bit ( called microfiber) ...any other suggestions? .......thanks so much for any recommendations.
