Early Stage Natural Girls!
There are "early stagers" who for one reason or another cannot, should not (or will not) use orthodox medicines. So, I felt it would be really helpful to start a new thread that will enable us "natural girls" to connect, build friendships, share valuable information and have peaceful in-dept discussions about the following:
- body detoxification
- diet and supplements
- herbal medicines
- exercise
- mind-body medicine
- alternative cancer treatments (.i.e. Budwig protocol, Gerson protocol etc)
I welcome all newbees and oldies who genuinely embrace natural therapies, have a thirst for knowledge and/or are well informed.

I am going start by saying that one of my main strategies is to detox my entire body--breast,colon, kidneys, liver, blood/lymph by means of diet, cleanses, supplements and exercise. My ND recommends detoxification as a primary consideration in treating disease.
First, I am specically concentrating on detoxifying environmental estrogen to prevent estrogen dominance. We are overexposed to toxins on a daily basis. We eat foods, drink liquids, and breathe air that contains so many crazy chemicals and hormones that are foreign and damaging to our hormones.
I've been a vegetarian for a number of years. I suspect, among other reasons, that not eating organic produce and eating processed soy have contributed to my breast health issues. Now I try to buy locally grown or organic fruits and vegetables as often as my budget permits. The water I drink, for now, is not the best quality. I plan to switch to drinking only alkaline water soon.
I also only use natural cleaning products including laundry detergents and dishwashing liquids and personal care products.
I have been taking calcium d glucarate, 500mg per day. I can't remember why I chose calcium d glucarate over DIM. But so far, I am pleased with it. Here is some information about it:
D-glucarate is a natural subtance is found in apples, oranges, broccoli, spinach, and Brussels sprouts. To detox the toxic estrogens your liver joins it to glucoronic acid. D-glucarate can inhibit an enzyme produced by gut bacteria called beta-glucuronidase that can break this bond and allow the estrogen to be recirculated from the bowel.
1-2 times per day I juice 750 ml of a mixture of greens and herbs, especially those that contain the phytochemical indole-3-carbinol because they are known to improve detox of environmental estrogen and improve the balance of all hormones. I always try to include watercress in my green juices. Studies have shown that eating as little as three ounces of watercress reduced the presence of breast cancer tumors in just hours after consumption. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20546646
Recently, I started doing self-breast massages to stimulate lymph drainage and get rid of toxins as well. According to www.brafree.org "Some researchers feel that the connection is that bras cause breast congestion and slow down lymphatic drainage of the breasts. Toxins that we eat, drink, inhale and absorb through our skin tend to collect in our fat cells. Our breasts are made of breast tissue and fat. So any constricting garment that slows down lymphatic drainage increases the amount of time that these toxins can damage our breast cells."
That's it for now.

Sharon, I belong here! Thanks for starting this thread. After looking at the side effects of conventional medicine, I was more comfortable doing nothing more than a lumpectomy. After my second dx, I went to a naturalpath to find out why my body was broken in the first place...to why my breast is making cancer cells. That was back in Dec 2009, or March 2009 why and when I began my health journey.
My situation has been complex. I learned first that I was hypothyroid, and dx with hashiminto. About a year and a half ago, I learned that I had yeast overgrowth. I've been battling that ever since.
So...for me it means I had to take thyroid med's. It's now better, and my thyroid antibodies dropped from 1100 to 45 (after I started anti-fungal med's and yeast free diet).
I believe the yeast overgrowth may have caused much of my thyroid problem.
So...it's diet change...not eating so much sugar, which means over abudance of fruit. The problem I have is I keep falling off the wagon. I love fruit! In the summer, I also like ice cream bathed in fruit.
I'm just beginning to get it together. Initially it was.because of so many antibiotics in the past and from a year ago due to infections. Dx 2007 & 2008 with high grade como-neu dcis...multifocal...2011 mucinious stage 1 cancer. Es & Pr 3 +++

Nice thread.Should be very interesting.
I wore a bra to sleep all my life!!!!!im a 34DD and they always got in my way.hmmmmmmm.I wonder exactly how much harm I did am still doing as i still sleep with a light sports bra.I did hear someone say you have to air those girlies out.I just find it soooo uncomfortable. When I told my BS that i always wore a bra she had no remark.STRANGE!!!!!!

Evebarry, welcome. I'm sorry to hear that there may be a chance that you are DX with another cancer. Please share your biopsy results with us. I'm praying for you.
I suffered from yeast infections for years as result of being on birth control pills. I remember taking antibiotics once for sinusitis. Although, the medication killed the mucus that was flowing from my nostrils, the medication caused yet another yeast infection.
Sugar does feed yeast. I made the mistake of binging on honey multigrain bread for a good while. At the time I was trying to gain weight. I was eating two loaves per week and then I got a yeast infection.
I started researching ways to cure the infection. I began with eliminating bread. I don't have a sweet tooth. But, I was eating too many dates and not drinking nearly enough water. Now I‘ve introduced prunes into my diet, because I read some where that prunes' insoluble fiber provide food for the friendly bacteria in the colon. I also eat a tablespoon of plain kefir with every meal and I drink a mixture of water, organic apple cider vinegar and a dash of baking soda in the morning and before having high carb meals. So far, knock on wood, no yeast.
I do believe there is connection between candidia and breast diseases. What I've learned is that candida enjoys consuming progesterone. This can cause estrogen dominance. To add, candida overgrowth can disrupt and mimic the hormone thyroxin in the body, and interfere with the functioning of the thyroid gland. Also, the thyroid is very sensitive to environmental toxins. I think a decrease in iodine intake added with an increased exposure to environmental toxins , has created an epidemic of iodine deficiency in North America. Iodine deficiency is believed to be the most common cause of hypothyroidism and maybe linked to cancer and fibrocystic disease of the breast too.
IMO all these connections tell me that the body needs to be cleansed to prevent toxins from invading our bodies and that we have to research effective natural ways to help our bodies metabolize and breakdown estrogen.

Grannydukes, welcome. A study was conducted a Harvard University a few years ago . The research based on almost 90,000 women showed that lean women of normal weight who had a D-cup at the age of 20 were significantly more likely to go on to develop the cancer than those wearing an A-cup..." Women with a D-cup bra size are more likely to get breast cancer.
In my case I never where a bra at night and I'm only a B cup. But, like most women, I do wear a bra during the day. I have been researching ways to cleanse the lymph in the breast. I came across a few sites that specialize in breast health that demonstrate the techniques. It's only been a few weeks but I swear my girls look healthier.

THE CANDIDA DIET
evebarry, and anybody dealing with candida, I found this site today www.thecandidadiet.com/ . It looks comprehensive and it seems relatively easy to follow. What do you think?
- STAGE 1: Detox the diet + body
- STAGE 2: Kill the candida
- STAGE 3: Repopulate intestines with good bacteria to prevent a return of candida
What I found interesting was black walnut oil was listed. That is a powerful cleansing herb.
ETA: The site also mentions that "seaweed is a nutrient-dense healing food that will help the body in the fight against Candida. It is rich in Iodine to help balance your thyroid gland - Candida sufferers often experience hypothyroidism and its many symptoms. Seaweed flushes toxic pollutants and heavy metals from the body, cleanses the intestinal tract and helps eliminate acid from the body to balance your PH levels.
Kelp extract supplements are one of the most potent sources of Iodine, but you should also try eating lots of different types of seaweed."

Princess----I was always a 34C until i got older.older meaning menapause.then i went to a D and then a DD.Like i really needed it especially now that im OLD.I was also told anyone who was bigger then a B should wear an underwire.so i did.even when I was a C cup they always got in my way sooo i always wore a bra to sleep.Just one more thing to add to this bc puzzle.I sure hope someone can figure this thing out NOW!!!!!!!
-
Grannydukes, my breast size see-saws a bit according to my weight. Plus, when I gave up cow's milk and meat and saw noticeable difference in the size, I started to be very suspicious of what's being injected into these animals. But, jumping from a C-cup to DD is quite a significant increase. Did you gain weight in other areas too? And do you eat animal products that have hormones?
I have been looking to find a herbal oil to use for my breast lymph drainage massage. I've been using coconut oil. But, there are others-comfrey root oil, castor oil etc-- that, from what I've read, can do a better a job:)
I just completed a 3-detox diet that involved only vegetable juice. No carrots or apples to make it taste "better", just greens. This cleanse supplies nutrition needed for the cells to detox. I was not looking forward to giving up my fruits and nuts at all for 3 days. But it was worth it. I feel great and have lots energy, now. But the first day I swear something was dying in belly. Bacteria doesn't seem to like bitter greens. They much prefer sugar. I broke the fast tonight by eating a small salad and carrot and broccoli soup. I will certainly be doing this fast on a monthly basis.

Daniel Vitalis - Preventing Breast Cancer
I don't know if any of you are familar with Daniel Vitalis. I recently started listening to him speak about natural therapies and herbs. In this 6-part video he shares his perspective on cancer of specifically of the breast and why its treatments are seriously flawed and he promotes self doctoring. He also touches on the fungal theory and goes into detail about the importance of keeping the lymph fluid moving. The talk is about an hour long. But well worth watching. I think he'd make a good spokesperson for a much needed "breast cancer/fungus prevention month" campaign.

Princess...good candida diet. Got to do that soon ... go through the detox first instead of doing the antifungals first.
Just to let you girls know that my biospy is dcis, high grade. I will see the Surgeon on Wednesday. I just hope it's early stage cancer...stage 1. I won't know until after the surgery.
Edit... lol...I goofed. My dx is IDC. It's not dcis. I wish it was right now.

Grannydukes. you are not alone. I had a pathetic diet too. I was a "meat-a-rian" for way too long. I barely ate greens or enough fruits. Like you, I have a laundry list of foods-wheat, gluten, legumes, pasteurized dairy, beef---which my body no longer tolerates.
I read that the typical American has over 5 pounds of compressed fecal matter, as toxic waste mucus, trapped in the folds of their colon. Apparently, the mucus produces free radicals and prevents nutrients from being properly absorbed. Nature never intended for us to move toxic substances through our system on a daily basis, which is probably why more and more adults are developing food intolerances and many infants are born with food allergies.
The prep for a colonoscopy cleans out the colon, right? I remember when my mother was prepping, no one in the house wanted to use the washroom after she did. So, if that's the case your colon is already getting an annual cleanse.
Since colonoscopies are not a requirement for me right now, in addition to juice fasting 3 consecutive days per month, I am thinking having either a colonic or coffee enema done once per year. I has a colonic a few years ago. That was quite a sight.
It sucks that you cannot eat vegetables. The juice fast cleanses all the organs. I know that sometimes people who are sensitive to gluten or wheat experience this. I met a woman who has BC who is sensitive to gluten. The natural sugar in fruits makes it difficult for her to walk. I guess you are taking whole foods supplements? If so which brand. I am may need to take some when I travel. My juicer won't fit in my suitcase.
I was told that there are specialized NDs who can help clear the problem in with a few "treatments". I have no idea what these treatments involve. I have to do my homework when I have time. It's not that I would ever eat wheat, gluten or pasteurized dairy again. However, I cannot remain a vegan forever. It's a good way to detox. But, I feel a little meat in my diet is neccessary.
I think that what you are doing (eating meat once per week) is totally reasonable. I have issues with beef though, even grain fed beef. I don't digest it well at all. I am zonked even after eating a just couple of ounces. My stomach seems to prefer lamb.
I want to try eating slightly under cooked wild meats like bison and elk. Unlike cows, these animals have not gone through extreme breeding. They have their original natural genetic lineage. I just don't if I will like the taste. We'll see.
As far a dairy goes, I am going to try what my naturopathic doctors suggested. That's either consuming non pasteurized (raw) dairy, goat milk or homemade almond milk. Have you tried any of these to replace diary?

Very interesting princess about they candida/yeast/progesterone/thyroid connection. I have suffered with all of the above issues for 10-20 years. Interesting that I also developed bc.
Just ANOTHER reminder for me to avoid sugar which is so so hard for me. I started a Stop Sugar thread and it has lots of tips & support, but I still eat way too much of it.

I need to correct the error from my above post in that my recent biopsy is IDC...HIGH GRADE, COMO-NE TYPE. I won't know much more before seeing the surgeon on Wednesday.

Evebarry, hang in there and try to take your mind off it. Whatever the outcome is, have faith that you'll get through it. I know that's easier said than done. But, staying positive and calm is better than the alternative. I'm praying that your inner spirit will guide you down the right path and the right people will help you along the way.

Yes Princess I did try the organic Almond milk.It is quite good.I forgot to mention it to you.I try to drink 8 oz a day.wow all that liquid.also coconut water as the water where i live is bad.even with a filter its bad.
Also I have tried bisin.quite a few times in a restaurant.that is not bad either.Actually im just so happy to find something in a restaurant to eat(which i hardly eat at anymore) Im not sure how good it is for you anyway.Do you know?My son says it has much less fat and its better for you but is it really good for you?this i dont know. And is it grass fed?
my lill GS 18 mos.is loaded with alergies including milk.He drinks only lactacte milk.Should i be worried?he hardly eats anything but he is stron like a lill bull and last month he actually gained 4 lbs.Dr says give him anything he will eat.well there goes my health diet for him!!!!!.aany suggestions as he is sooooo picky.
sooo many questions......my head is spinning.thanks for the help.huggggggggs K

Grannydukes:
1) All the liquid you are drinking is good. It helps to flush out toxins, especially the coconut water. Unfortunately my digestive track doesn't like it. Most people are dehydrated. We should be drinking at least 1.5 litres per day.
2) Nutritionally, grass fed Bisson is better than beef. It's leaner and has less calories and more B12.
3) Generally, tap water is slightly acidic. A body that is too acidic provides the perfect setting for diseases to manifest and thrive in. Many studies suggest that cancer cells can only grow in an acidic environment. IMO, alkaline water is one of the better options out there. From what I've read, as it hydrates cells, it helps dissolve waste and will balance the body's pH levels.
4) Sometimes toddlers are picky about food. But, kids are smart they know how to manipulate adults. My niece would eat everything on her plate only if my brother was feeding her. He wouldn't let her get away with any of the "tricks " she played on my sister in law. My niece figured out that she could wear mom down. But, dad was not having it. So, perhaps more boundaries would help? And giving your GS healthy options to choose from will give him a sense of control. Mom and dad should maybe try asking him if he wants an apple or an orange. That will force your GS to make a decision. If they leave the decision entirely up to him, he'll choose the same food all the time and he'll be missing vitamins. Speaking of which, there good quality multi vitamins formulated for toddlers. And veggie smoothies that have fruits like bananas and pine apple taste good. The sweet taste will keep him coming back for more.
There are 100's of new chemicals being introduced to the marketplace every year. Actually over 200 different toxins can be found in the umbilical cord blood that feeds directly into the growing fetus. These toxins are classified as being carcinogens, immune toxins, neurotoxins and hormone disrupting chemicals. And the medical community and general public are scratching their heads, wondering why there are so many childhood illnesses: asthma, allergies, ADHD, autism, leukemias, early puberty etc. on the rise. I think women who are planning to get pregnant should detox first.
If your GS has allergies, you can try taking him to a naturopathic pediatrician. He or she will probably tailor a detox diet for his body. Whatever you do don't give up on him.
Many children with food allergies have a hard time concentrating in school and get put on Prozac. That was the case with my niece. My brother did not give her the medication though. He started paying closer attention to what she was eating. Now he feeds both of his daughters only organic foods and no refined sugar, gluten, peanuts or foods with artifical flavors and/or colors. That seemed to work.
Big Hugs,
Sharon

Wow Sharon, you are a wealth of info.My GS is 17 mos old and really does not talk.he just looks and feels the food and will not eat it.period.he will just not eat.Yesterday he broke out in a bad rash.my GD thinks that in daycare (she is due with #2 in 4 weeks) they might have given him the wrong milk (not lactose) by mistake and he had a bad rash on his bottom.he is extremely fair skin.I worry about him not only with his skin condition but he hardly eats and when he does its junk. The teacher called him arrogant, headstrong, determined and very set in his ways.He would rather starve then eat the schools food. that scares me too.
As for me i think im doin the right thing so far.I do worry a little as i refuse to take any of the ALs.I am eating foods i never thought i would be able to chew no less swallow.Im takin baby steps.its just been 1 yr since i had the surgery.i made a 75% change.
Would you call that good?????
Any adivce I would gladly accept.
Thank you.huggggggggggggggs K

Hi I am so thrilled to have found this discussion group
I am one who agrees with holistic/alternative medicine fully. So glad Princess123 started this as It has been very informative and this total group of people seem so genuine and warm. So... many thanks to you Princess123! Since I am a newbie to this discussion board thing, I just read all the posts here and decided I would really love to get to know you all and be in a nice... Peaceful place where I can feel comfortable and learn etc. I found other discussion boards that are on here that arguing etc. taking place and that's just not for me. I was diagnosed in beginning of June, DCIS, in left, and Atypical Hyperplasia in right. No surgery as of yet. How did you all find out the grade? etc? All I was told was that the DCIS was 6cm.???

XmasDx, welcome. Here's another reason to give up sugar. I found this video and was blown away. Basically, blood was drawn from a gentleman who was able to shed some lbs and reduce his sugar intake. Welcome, PuddyCat53. This is the warm and friendly let's get down to business and restore our health naturally thread. There is so much information on this forum I'm glad I found it. A thread like this one was missing, so I said, "what heck, just start it."
Grannydukes, wow those are some harsh words that the teacher used. Most toddlers are set in their ways. That's why they call it the terrible 2's. Some little ones prefer to snack all day. I think as long as he is getting around 1000 + calories per day, you shouldn't worry too much about it. But the snacks have to be nutritious, tasty and visually appealing-. (i.e. gluten-free "kid friendly " crackers and almond butter with a small bowl of grapes or baby carrots. Hmmm.. perhaps before dinner limit the snacks and play an exhausting game of tag outside. Maybe the "cardio workout " will help him build up an appetite for something like sweet potato oven baked fries and a breaded chicken drumstick. I know after I work out hard I'm famished.
As for you, a 75% change is fantastic! I'm hoping that this thread will help all of us step up our regimens and feel confident knowing that we are doing what's right for us.
What's worked for me so far is that I take the time to research-maybe 2-3 hrs per week total. I read a lot about health and I surround myself with positive health conscious people. My notes are very organized and my objectives and overall plan is written down and kept in a binder.
I highly recommend that you watch Daniel Vitalis's video and take notes. The information is empowering. Also, a must-read is "You Can Conquer Cancer" by Ian Gawler. They both know what they are talking about.
Dr. Gawler believes that there is a process by which the body can restore its natural state of health. He sees cancer as a symptom of immune deficiency and discusses how the immune system can be reactivated. That is the topic I'd like us to address next, specifically in relation to diet and supplements and then exericise. Our antioxidant levels have to be ideal.
I've been reading about Glutathione lately, which is the mother of all anti-oxidants and the maestro of the immune system. I'm going to post my notes some time next week.
Ladies, we are going to get our immune systems running at their best!!!!
Big Hugs,
Sharon

Very interesting thread.
GrannyDukes - I just had to jump in. My 3rd son has a dairy and soy allergy. If your gs is truly allergic to dairy he should not have any form of cows milk. My son uses rice milk but there are many other kinds out there. My son would not eat solids until almost 2. I nursed him so I really wasn't worried about nutrition and he was growing. I'm sure now that the reason he wouldn't eat was food allergies. He just didn't feel good. When (with the help of our gp) we cut out all dairy and soy, as those are the most common allergins, he felt better. We had to be very careful to read our labels as dairy and soy are 'hidden' in lots of foods. Just elimanting milk and butter won't do it. You also have to give it 2-4 weeks to truly see a difference. I would also pull him from tht school. Any teacher who describes a toddler that way......no way. Sorry, I'm passionate about kids and have learned so much from my son's food allergies. We have 4 kids but only one with allergies. HTH and didn't offend! Only meant to be helpful as I know how hard it is to eliminate food with kids!

thank you everyone for the info for my GS.yes we know he is headstrong, has a temper,s spoiled etc.ths teacher said she had a daughter just like him.The dr said gve hm anythng he will eat, anythng.my GD tred to make homemade chcken nuggets, pasta, soups.he just will not eat it.we even bought her a juicer and he wont touch anything.and he is gaining weight.go figure.its me who is gettng crazy when i see him eat chips etc.
Looking forward to the new topics on this thread about the mother lode of ant ioxident.
This thread is just wonderful. Thanks for starting this princess.huggs K

Welcome, mom3band1g. You are so right about soy being hidden in everything. I have been trying to find an organic body building protein bar that does not contain it. I've given up. I'm going to have to learn how to make them from scratch.
When I look back at some of the foods I ate, I'm sure that between the processed soy burgers, the soy milk and the soy protein bars I ate every day, my daily intake of genistein was well over 200mg.
The other culprit that's hidden in many seemingly healthy staple foods is palm oil. Food companies are using it these days instead of trans fats. Sadly, palm oil is really not that much healthier. The average consumer does not know this, of course. People see that that their favorite brand of, even organic, veggie chips, cookies and crackers has 0 grams of trans fats and they think the products are healthy.
I finally found a palm oil free raw almond butter today. It tastes so much better than the ones with palm oil. I can't stop eating it. For sure, the jar will be empty by Monday.
Grannydukes, I agree with mom3band1g. Rice milk is a good alternative. Another one is goat's milk. Also, your GS will gain weight if all he is mostly eating is chips. (Someone is guilty of supplying him with these chips and other junk foods. lol). Another option is to dehydrate sweet potatos and make chips. At least they'll be healthier. They're good. He won't know the difference.
Hugs,
Sharon
ETA There are cookbooks available that show how to make healthy versions of junk foods--cookies, hamburgers etc. for children.

I have a really good recipe for homemade granola bars if anyone is interested! I make them for my son with food allergies and they are yummy.
Soy - for some reason this thread just kind of gave me an 'a-ha' moment. I know I have a hormone imbalance. I am estrogen dominent and not enough progesterone. I eat protein bars. Everyday. I had decided to cut wheat out of my diet because my middle spare tire would not budge. Cutting the wheat helped me lose the middle fat but I was hungry. I have been using the protein bars as a go-to quick snack. I do make a protein shake in the morning and now I'm going to check my protein to see about soy. I think (hope) it's all whey protein.
anyway,
thanks for the info all!
-
Talk about ah ha moments, I had no idea palm oil was bad for us. I've been trying so hard to stay away from trans fat.
In my past I also ate large quantities of soy, and not in the natural state. I bought a shake with lots of soy isoflavones which I now know are bad for us.
-
I didn't know palm oil was bad either. Because of my son's food allergies this is one of the replacement fats we allow. Crud. I need to do some more reading on palm oil.
-
Kira 1234, welcome.:)
Moms3and 1g Yoga is suppose to help raise progesterone. Also, maca is known to really help raise progesterone and balance hormones. To be honest, I don't know enough about this supplement to reccommend it. There is some controversy surrounding it that concerns me.
Please post your granola recipe. The natural ones in the stores are either way over priced (i.e. Lara bars) or not really healthy.
I found a recipe for homemade protein bars. The problem is it calls for peanut butter and whey protein powder. Those two are no no's for me. I'm going to replace those ingredients with raw almond butter and my vegan protein powder. If this modified version works, I'll post the recipe.
I don't eat wheat either. I didn't stop eating it to lose weight. I realized that it was affecting my nervous system. Wheat allergies are pretty common. Among others, there is an allergen in wheat, which is a protein called gliadin, which is found in gluten. People who are allergic to wheat are recommended to eat a gluten-free diet. Gluten-free bread are expensive and taste like paper. I started buying manna bread, made by Manna Organic Bakery. The ingredients this company uses are simple-sprouted grains, fruits, nuts and seeds and no added salt, leavening , yeast, oil, or sweeteners. What's great is these breads are so tasty.
Ladies here is an article written by Dr. Lam about soy and estrogen dominance. www.drlam.com/opinion/soyandestrogen.asp . The soy industry in North America promotes the myth that Asians have lower rates of breast cancer because of soy consumption. In fact, Asians eat soy in small quantities, as a condiment in the diet and not as a staple food. According to Dr. Lam, the amount of genistein per day consumed in the average Japanese is only 10mg. What's more, they eat old-fashioned, whole soybean products such as miso, tempeh, natto and tofu, not the new heavily processed products marketed by the soy industry, which are not healthy, by far.
As for palm oil, here is the study I found. "Palm Oil Not A Healthy Substitute For Trans Fats, Study Finds." www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/05/090502084827.htm
Hugs,
Sharon

Interesting thread. I have been looking at integrative approaches and good food choice threads, but since I am focusing on learning and changing my diet I hope you don't mind if I ride along with you gals. After my surgery I read Anti-cancer and watched the documentary Forks over Knives and decided to make a concerted effort to make my body "inhospitable terrain" for cancer. Though I have faltered along the way I have made good progress, losing 12 pounds without dieting, ramping up my exercise again and transitioning to less caustic household products. I believe that lifestyle, diet and environment are largely unexplored but critical areas in our care. I am looking forward to learning more...
