Reconstruction after Radiotherapy

Hi Ladies, just wondered if anyone was due to go through radiotherapy, i recently underwent BM with expanders, due to infection out they came, still struggling with the infected side, no infection but still fluid coming from site, cant start radiotherapy until healed.  I am concerned about the effects of radiotherapy on my skin and how it will impact my choices for reconstruction, am i likely to have the same problems then as i am having now with infection and healing due to the skin being compromised???..................anyone offer any advice pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!!,
