Itchy Breast

Lumpectomy almost 4 years ago.  The past six months have found me sratching the snot out of my breast (BC one) across the scar and on the nipple (scar is directly above the nipple).  It itches ALL the time.  Sometimes the nipple also has a shooting pain coming out of it.  I do not have a rash, it is not swollen, nor is it hot.  I find it hard to believe if it was an allergic reaction that only one breast would itch.  Thoughts?

    Go to your doc and get an ultrasound, soon. Is your nipple starting to sink in or going flat?

    see the doc.  there are many simple, treatable things it could be but there's also not so simple.  Needs to be looked at and definitely NOT ignored.  Sometimes the best way to identify it is to do different treatments and see what works.  IF nothing stops it from itching and the pain, keep being proactive until it is solved.
