Hi, Ladies, It's been a year since I finished Herceptin and just want to say "hi." I am doing well, lost weight and exercise more. The only probs I've had this year was cording, for the first time. I massaged it and it went away right before I was set for physical therapy. Hope you are all doing well. Still NED! -
Hi NancyJill! Glad to hear you are doing well. I lost some weight, gained some and now losing again. God help me, I joined a gym lol! I've been battling some anemia which has caused some hair loss (crap, I just got it back!), but that's getting better too.
Hope others check in!
-
Good to hear, auntienance! Keep up the exercise and I will also try to! -
Hello,
I´m fine too. Had my gyn follow-up 2 weeks ago...now I just have to go to have the mammogram done. And I´m not looking forward to it.
I´m glad that most of us are doing fine! -
Hi. I am doing fine. I just got cleared by my PS from my last part of recon so I finally feel done!! Glad to hear everyone seems to be doing well. I am not going to talk about the weight thing.
-
Doing fine also! Can't believe it's been 2 years! -

i was vegan or near vegan.
i exercised. probably not as much as i could, kept my weight down, tookclose to 20 supplements under dr blocks guidance,

dr dicke has caught this bone mets very early, marrow was clean, nothing in organs.
cancer sucks. i had to relocate to texas for year long tx. left my girls at home
-
Fran, I am so sorry you are having to deal with this crap. I hope your treatments are effective and kind to you so you can get home to your girls. (((Hugs)))
-
damn fucking cancer .
-
Agreed!
-
Oh Fran, I am so sorry to hear your news! Cancer just stinks! I will keep you in my thoughts and send you (((hugs))).
I am back to working too many hours. I have another check up in a week. Tamoxifen has not been too bad to me. I have started going to Zumba and I love it! My kids are all in college so my husband and I are taking time to get to know each other again.

Oh Fran, this is not the news I was hoping for :-(
A friend of mine has also mets to the bones 2 years and 3 months after the first diagnosis. She´s my age and is getting chemo for the second time now. I still can´t believe it.
I hate cancer. Really. -
Fredntan, so bummed to hear. I hope your new treatments go well. BTW there is a woman in my support group who has been stage IV for over 10 years now!
I'm still NED. My biggest problem has been fatigue, finally seems to be getting better after 20 months. I still get tired in the evenings but can make it through the days better.
