The Breast Cancer Thrivers Cruise has started a campaign in attempting to raise enough money for 12 stage IV to attend the Breast Cancer Thrivers Cruise in 2012.

Last year, as in years past, the reponse in healing while crusing of heart issues associated with breast cancer was amazing to watch. For one week just to focus on yourself, your emotional issues with your breast cancer healing jounrey and to meet with so many fun Thrivers from all over the US and other countries as well proved to be a healing opportunity for so many.

We  met with more fundraisers today in order to seek to raise money for 12 in 2012, and their caregivers if we can raise enough to be able to attend the 6th Annual Breast Cancer Thrivers Cruise.

Last year the journaling and share session was my all time favorite. The women were so brave and the session was so healing for so many. I stood in awe.

If you are interested in assisting women to attend, please contact me, Laurie Bennett at laurie@breastcancerwellness.org , we are a non for profit organization with a mission mindset of assisting all women on their breast cancer healing journey and especially stage IV and newly diagnosed.

(cocking brain from side to side to see if I can make sense of this in any way.... )

I suppose if you consider death the ultimate Nirvana, or if you just can't wait to meet St. Peter or Allah, then it makes sense that "healing/thriving" and stage IV breast cancer can go in the same vein.

Here's to no healing, no thriving, and staying on earth - excuse my worldliness. Hoping my cancer doesn't return in my bones so that I don't have to "thrive" at Stage IV and "heal" for painful years of treatment. I'm just starting to enjoy the earthly autumn weather in my once hormone therapy-ed body.

1Athena1 , today I spoke with one of my good friends, Jane Murphy, she is here on this site as well. She was re-diagnosed a short time ago and I DO consider her a thriver.

To me, and others at Breast Cancer Wellness, we know thrivers that are in pain and in hurt. What makes them thrive is in their heart. The Bible reads, 'may your soul prosper even as your health prospers.' Her spirit and soul are so alive and thriving and we are believing her body will as well.

Another, thriver Jamie, I wrote about her last month. Stage IV, but oh, what a woman of inspiration. She is enduring treatments today as like every Wednesday, but her smile and attitude and heart is compelling and soars.

These women are the women I see, and seek. For they are like my own mother, a 19 year thriver. Who changes perspective among those she is around for them to believe in healing and seek to heal and be and become who they seek to be.

1Athena1, may you be well today. I will think of you.
