I'm 7 out of 10 rad treatments into having my neck and left hip radiated for pain reduction from bone mets I've had hoarsness and sore throat for 3 days now, Dr. gave me this benadryl,maalox,novacainelike. mixture to help sooth it...Well i now awoke in the middle of the night with my throat burning somthing awful, feelin raw as hell, with heart burn from medicine that tases awful.. As in water hurts and before i know it im now vomiting my guts up..Any ideas o pointers would be greatly appreciated!! Hugzz...Tammie

Uggh, what a mess, go to the onc radiologist and stomp your foot.  You might have a wrong rad placement, in any case, something has to be done.  Stop being a "good girl" and throw a fit.  This is not acceptable.

ty Shirl im tellin them this am as ive been havin to plan just to swallow or i choke...now even with plannin im chokin..i do know that im not losin my esophogus to reduce pain in my neck. lol Doesnt seem to be an even trade off at all lol..
