DONE!!!! I finally finished yesterday, after some delay with the machine breaking down last week. I'm so relieved, and soooo tired! I'm hanging out at home in my sweats today. I refuse to leave the house. No appointments!!!!! Yippee! I got a nice diploma and a mug from the techs yesterday, with a quote, Emily Dickinson, "Forever is composed of Nows."
They've been playing country music for me during my treatments, except for one day when the tech was in a Bruce Springstein mood, but yesterday for some reason was Beethoven's "Fur Elise." I don't think I'll ever hear that again and not remember.

Congrats Robyn! That is great that you finished before Christmas. Have a wonderful holiday.
-
Robyn, you finished just in the nick of time
congratulations!!!
My place never played any music, but at least they let me listen to my iPod while they were zapping me. I didn't get a mug or a diploma, either, but my friends made sure to treat me up right all weekend.
Hope you have a very happy holiday with you and yours!

Hi October ladies,
I got my rads diploma; I could not have done as well as I did without your wisdom, experience and caring support. I remember posting about our anxieties and fears way back ... and it was good to know I wasn't alone. I found a way to get through, and it is done.
I hope each of you is on a path of well being and complete recovery now.
Hugs, thanks, and prayers!Joan

I am! I'm still on Herceptin and now have lymphedema which my PT says is from rads, but compared to where I was 10 months ago, it's fantastic! Hope you're doing well too.

Hey, any October 2011 ladies still around haunting the board? Drop by and say hi if you are! If you don't, I hope you are out living your life and leaving BCA in your rear view mirror!
-
Hi marthah, as soon as I saw your post I got a picture of who you are...didn't forget.
I am still on here at least every week. After the October 2011 thread quieted down I moved on to Radiation Recovery which is still very active. How are you? I hope you are doing well. My life is fairly normal except for a lot of medical visits.
I am working and active and happy that I was able to resume my usual life.
Glad you checked in!
