biopsy during radiation

I am halfway through radiation therapy (16 of 28), after 6 months of chemo and a skin sparing BMX and AND and currently have TE.  I found a lump in the same place as the original tumor, right on the TE border.  I didn't have it when I started radiation. I'm scheduled for a needle biopsy/aspiration tomorrow for pathology.

2 questions:

  • Has anyone had lumps develop during radiation?
  • Has anyone had a biopsy during radiation?  What should I expect for healing versus a biopsy on an unradiated breast?
