Thinking of you, I hope you & the boys got through today ok.  I'm sure Dave's services were just as wonderful as he was.  Hugs and prayers going your way.

Wow, girls, the service on Saturday was everything I wanted it to be and more.  I had four speakers from various times in his life who did a tremendous job of capturing his courage and wit, and a soloist who sings like an angel.  I am so comforted by the fact that it turned out the way that it did.  Blessings to you all!

Blessings to you Spunkie.. I have known several victims of brain cancer and the end is indeed sooner than the death.. I am just in awe that you cared for him.  I;ve always thought about your struggle.. his and yours combined and the job you had to do... and the job that will continue raising your boys.  I hope you are the one around till your 96... and happy sometime soon.

I am glad the final services were uplifting.  I play at funerals.. the organ and they can be so different.  some are awesomely uplifting.  I played for one with only 3 attendees and they insisted on paying me.  that really made me sad.

Apple, you always say things that make me smile, laugh, or stop in awe of your wisdom and kindness.  I would love to meet you someday.  God bless you.  I hope we are all around until we are 96!

P.S. Apple, Dave and I met at Ft. Riley, KS and had the most wonderful time there, especially in Manhattan!
