Chemo begins

Starting Weds on Taxotere and Herceptin for 12 weeks and then FEC for 9 weeks .. .anyone else try this?

    Hi:

    I had Taxol for 12 weeks on a weekly basis and then FEC for 4 three week cycles. For me, the Taxol was much easier than the FEC. FEC would knock me out for 3-5 days after each treatment, then I would bounce back as my WBCs came back up. I also had Neulasta shots to help my WBCs; I took Claritin with them as recommended by the chemo nurses, and never had any bone pain.
