    Well, my team didn't win, but this is a win that means a whole lot more--to me. Tina, you never should have had to fight this hard, but I'm so glad you did and I hope this sets a precedent.

    I spoke to the garment provider yesterday, trying to verify where things stood on the Solaris night vest. After winning appeal, Blue Cross has been very vague on who needed to complete preauthorization process and get new start date so vest could be ordered. It appeared that my doctor had to do, so she made calls, was put on hold, left messages, never received called back. I called, left messages, and wasn't called back. Finally, I talk to someone, and it's like pulling teeth, but I finally get them to tell me the garment provider has to call. I tell my therapist, but I am still worried, that somehow this could all be screwed up if we do something out of order. She explains to garment people and asks them to look into it. Well, I hadn't heard anything and neither had my therapist, so yesterday I call garment people and find out that everything had been approved and ordered! So, the vest is in process of being made, and the custom sleeve and glove are in the process of being made as well. Yippee! Now I just hope everything fits well!!
