Pain From Radiation :(

I have had 8 radiation treatments and am experiencing the most horrible shooting/stabbing pains that go through to my back...it is horrible I cannot do another 4.5 weeks of this!!!! I go daily..Mon.-Fri. I am not talking about skin pain put this is inside and unbearable...what the heck is going on? 

 I  told the onc 2 days ago and he did not say much. Tonight was the absolute worst stabbing/shooting pain yet.....Cry

CAN ANYONE tell me if this pain is not unusual for radiation therapy??

    Dear sister, this is not common, try to stomp your foot and get some answers.  You may have pleurisy, MAKE them check you out.  I had severe costochondritis (pain in the cartilage between the ribs) so there are several things that could be the matter, some not serious, but you need to know what the heck is going on.  Stop being a good girl, (like we were all taught) and throw a fit!  I mean it, you need answers.
