Pleomorphic

I was diagnosed with ILC pleomorphic in 2009. I have had some follow ups and my onco said that I dont have mets. But I was told that pleomorphic grows as an indian file and and not as a tumour and that was the reason it was missed on mammography and ultrasound. Now I wonder, if I have mets how will it grows (tumour or indian file) and would MRI pick it up? I asked my onco and he never answered me. I'm so worried? Anyone had mets from pleomorphic and how was it found?
