Confused & Scared

I recived my Path report from Lump surgery today. It's telling me I'm ER+ PR+ HER- I have both IDC 14mm grade 2 tumor w/ lymphvascular invasion, and DCIS .  Of the 3 nodes taken, my sentinel node was neg but 1 of the other 2 nodes has a .25mm metastatic deposit. My dx is pT1cNmi.

I'm concerned/confused/scared that my sentinal node is neg while one of the others isn't.  Is this common?

    I had a negative sentinel node and 2 micro infiltrates in other nodes. That was six years ago almost. Other's will know more but I don't think it is that uncommon and is probably a good thing.

    I understand your confusion...  I thought if your sentinel node was negative they do not even look at the other nodes???  Sorry I can not help but now I am also curious...what did your doctor tell you regarding this?
