Scar tissue vs. lump

Can anyone tell me if scar tissue can feel like a lump?  I had a BMX in 8/09 and I have a lump(?) at 10 o'clock below my scar in the breast that had the cancer. It is small and visible but I don't feel  the same thing on the other side.

I was dx in May 08 and had the full works (chemo etc). January 2010 a really hard lump appear and I was scared to death. Managed to get a very quick appointment with the breast care clinic (UK) who took it very seriously and did an ultrasound and fine needle biopsy.

It turned out to be a cyst which was underneath the scar tissue, and therefore pushed it up. It was the scar tissue that I was feeling but the cyst was underneath.

Get it checked out. It could be something, it could be nothing, but you won't get any peace until you know. The chances are that it's something simple.

Thank you for responding.  I'm not freaking out, but I would be lying if I didn't say I was a little concerned.  I'm sure it's nothing, but will take your advice and have it checked out.
