edited June 2014 in Middle Age 40-60(ish) Years Old With Breast Cancer

I am new here and very worried and upset about the diagnosis my doctor has given me.  I had my left breast removed and have done chemo and i have one more radiation treatment.  I have almost finished with radiation thearpy and now my doctor is saying they are finding more cancer cells in my blood but they don't know where it has went.  I go back to see him in 2 weeks and he is talking like maybe doing another bone scan on me.

    HI quilt4u - am bumping this so maybe someone with similar situation can offer advice. You may want to add your dx info - ER/PR Her2 status, what type of chemo etc as that really helps people provide info that may help. 

    My thought was asking if you could see onc sooner, especially since then you may have to wait beyond that for any scans. 

    It is okay to ask them if they can see you sooner - especially since you are in treatment now!

    Are you referring to a tumor marker test?
