After Mastectomy

I am 73 years old and had a mastectomy one year ago, both breasts.  I now have a lot of extra skin around my under arms.  Very uncomfortable!  Has anyone else had this situation?  As of now, I went to a Plastic surgeon and he said he could help me get rid of some of the extra skin.  He also said I still wouldn't like it but it would be a help.  The surgeon was recommended by my surgeon who did my surgery.  If anyone has had this done, please let me know the results and tell my what you think.  Thanks so much!!    Fiddles
