Here I am over 3 years out!! When first dx I really thought that I wouldn't see the following year. I planned my funeral and looked at the flowers for what I thought was the last time.

Here I am enjoying live, planning holidays and really enjoying myself.. You get over chemo and the other treatment and just get on with life.

Hello sweetie, I,m am so !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!happy for you and I agree, when you first hear those words, you think your life is over(But God) has more work for us to do, to encourage others to hold on   and have HOPE is what I Always inspire to do, it got me to 17 yrs still here and counting and I want to continue to keep up Positive thinking also. God Bless US and continue to use ME. msphil   idc, stage 2, 3 nodes, L mast, chemo, rads, tamoxifen for 5 yrs

Hi ladies Thanks for your positive posts. I am also three years out from my diagnosis. Mal I also used to cry in the shower, it was soooo difficult to look ahead in those days. Now as you said we love, laugh, live and keep going forward....I will still have little twinges of being scared but I know I cant live my life fearful, it is such a waste of my joy. Bless you.

I, too, have those twinges of being scared, but life really is too short to worry about them. Don't waste the breath, BC isn't worth it. 

I have lost a friend to BC this summer and another friend has a recurrence, but their dx was different to mine, and whilst you feel for them, you're also thankful. It is hard though and you just have to get on with your life. Enjoy it.
