My wife was diagnosed with IBC, Stage IIB, Grade III a year ago last June.  I didn't think she'd be with me this year, but here it is 14 months later and she's doing amazing!

You never realize how many ways your life will unravel once you hear your spouse is diagnosed. Not only do you need to decipher the diagnosis you suddenly learn roles you never thought you'd face. I've never had formal medical training yet suddenly you learn to empty drains etc.   I've never had any formal training to be a psychologist or psychiatrist, yet I spent many hours holding and listening to my wife as she cried... I've never had any clergy training however learned that God can be your co-pilot throughout this journey.

I blogged my way through our journey.  Everyone's journey is different just as each cancer is specific to each person.  This blog just talks about our day to day life and how we dealt with our challenges, trials and "things" that come up.  It's been pretty helpful to a number of people.  Maybe a quick read could answer some questions you may have.
