Is there any one here who has IFDC, grade 3, stage 2, high S-phase, & HER2 positive? I have not seen anyone yet. I was told in June that I had breast cancer and had two surgerys but did not remove my breast. My doctor told me all my scans were negative and then the oncologist told me I have lymph nodes positive in my chest. I am trying to get somewhere that will actually look over my test accurately but because its been so long since my first surgery and I have not had any treatment my time is at risk. I am scared out of my mind. They just keep telling my how aggressive the cancer I have is but they have stalled so many times due to surgerys and more tests and scan having to be redone. Looking for hope!

starz2watch - sorry you are having a difficult time getting answers.  The early period of BC diagnosis and tests is frustrating.  You may be reading our signature lines incorrectly.  You list IFDC, but it is also shown as IDC.  I believe your high s-phase is echoed by your grade 3.  If you read my signature line you will see IDC, grade 3, stage 2, Her2+, which looks like what you are describing.  I had 5 surgeries from November '10 to January '11 and did not start chemo until Feb. '11.  I hope you have some resolution soon, active treatment while not fun, will help you relax a little because you will feel like you are being proactive.  Best wishes to you.

    starz2watch,

I was diagnosed in early August 6, 2008 had 3 lumpectomies last one Sept 23...never got clean margins so I had a mastectomy on October 12th. I started chemo on Dec 2nd. Between the mast and the chemo, I went for a second opinion on my treatment, I had to wait 3 weeks for the appt. When I expressed my concern about this delaying the starting of my treatment they stated that it is normal to wait 4 to 8 weeks after surgery to start treatment and to not worry. It was discovered in mid November that I was anemic so the onc started me on iron supplements and delayed treatment for 2 weeks in order to get the iron counts up. I know how unnerving this can all be but as you can see we all have a different story to tell concerning the timing between diagnosis, surgery and chemo.

    Best wishes to you.
