BREAST MRI AND FOLLOW UP

Hi all....

I will have my annual check up and my onco recommended to have a PET CT, Breast MRI and Mammo and blood tests.

Do you have an annual MRI and with the MRI does your doctor order also mammo?

MRI is not enough as a follow up?Does mammo needed also to be done with MRI?

I was told that mammos could see little things like calcafications, that can not be seen on a mri. That's why they do both. My doctor orders both for follow up.

do you do the mammo same day with mri?how much time is betwenn them?

do you have and PET CT also?

It was supposed to be all in the same time but I asked to have the mri at 3 months and the mammo/US at 6 months so I have a check every 3 months with my onc visit every 6 months.

So you are having MRI and 6 months after a mammo and ultrasound?

What other tests does your oncologist order and how often?
