Anyone In Nashville That Can Help with Baby During Surgery?
I am coming to Nashville for my masectomy/recon surgery. The surgery is Wednesday and I would love for my husband to be with me if he can. I just don't have a sitter for the baby and he is coming to Nashville with us. I have 4 kids and didn't feel right leaving him with my mom. I could use a nanny service but just thought I would check in here:) If you know of anyone who lives there that could babysit that you could recommend I would greatly appreciate it!

I sure wish I still lived there I would definetly help you out and I'm sorry I don't know any nannies in the area. There is a site I've used before....sittercity.com, you can search for nannies in that area and some have had background checks done. I'll be thinking and praying for you next week, let us know how things go. Good luck in your search.

Are you driving or flying? I am 3 hours from Nashville, and can meet you halfway maybe? I have a minivan and big house. I'd honestly be happy to help you out....you can just leave however many you want with me a few days to give you time to recover. I have 3... 8, 12 and 15 and live in a culdesac surrounded by children. PM or Facebook me!

I wish I was closer, Jen, or I would do it! (I live in CT). I have a friend who lived in Nashville for many years, and will ask her if she knows anyone. She has VERY high standards for most things in life, so I would trust her judgement. PM me with your personal email if you want, and I'll contact her today.
Your surgery is on the prayer list! You're going to be fine. And when it's over- what a sense of relief you will have. It's a big step.
