"More pink for your green"

I am cringing at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer slogan.

I don't hate pink...but I hate this slogan.

I want more cure for my green or more help...but not more pink.

Again I can live with a few pink ribbons, but I think this motto is awful.

I have to admit that I'm not impressed with 'Making Strides Against Breast Cancer' as a slogan either.  It's just wishy-washy ... gives me a feeling of somebody ambling along just hoping something comes up.

No kick ... no punch ... no passion ... does not impart the urgency of the fact that women are being killed by this disease.   Nor that even the ones who survive often have their lives turned upside down by it.  

'More pink for your green'?  Is somebody actually saying that??!  Sounds like saying we need more pink shirts, or pink boas, or pink ribbons.   Not even close ...

 I mean I am fine with the making strides part.......just the more pink for your green part...for me it just is so awful.
