IBC in Ontario with Recurrence

Anyone out there in Ontario, Canada with IBC. I finished tx 5 months ago and have recurrence. Oncologist doesn't know what tx? Anyone else been there before? I am also triple negative

    Hi Lynn. I'm in Ontario but not with IBC. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry you are going through more of this. I'm sure there are others who will respond to you question

    Hi LynnB:  What a bummer.  I'm so sorry you have a recurrence so early after treatment.  I am in Toronto, Ontario and have skin mets and am on Xeloda but I am not triple negative.  Can you get a referral to Princess Margaret or Sunnybrook?.  Princess Margaret has a special clinic for IBC, it is called the LABC clinic (locally advanced breast cancer).  I believe that Sunnybrook has a special interest in IBC too.  If your local Oncologist doesnt know what to do, it's time to ask someone who does.  Good luck and keep in touch.
