BCO (main site) Symptoms and diagnosis: Cancer types  http://www.breastcancer.org/symptoms/types/

Lists the various types of Breast Cancer. Includes information about the non-invasive or stage 0 "cancers" LCIS, DCIS, and Pagets disease of the nipple, which is rare, and Phylloides tumours which are benign and also fairly uncommon, these all get coverage.of a page each.

Sadly however there is not even a single mention of mucinous, tubular, cribriform or the other so called rarer types which however ARE invasive life-threatening cancers.  This is a very sad oversight on your otherwise excellent resource. Would it be so very difficult to add at least a little information, on these other types of invasive breast cancer, PLEASE?

    Medullary Carcinoma of the Breast

    Mucinous Carcinoma of the Breast

Ah, wonderful. Thankyou. I've only been coming here two years and not found it before. Frown I did think it was a bit unfair!

Maybe it's because I was told it was "not IDC and not ILC" but another thing different again. You just get given a diagnosis and at that stage you believe what the doctors say and work from there...  Is it possible please it could be made more explicit that that's the place where people with these confusing diagnoses need to look.

eg Could you re-label that link page as: "IDC Less Common Types: click here for Tubular, Medullary, Mucinous(Colloid) , Papillary, Cribriform carcinomas"
