Anyone from Long Island?

I know there must be a lot of ladies out there from Long Island -- this region has been known for a high rate of breast cancer.  I'm on the South Shore, diagnosed this May with Stage 1 BC, Her2+ and have had my lumpectomy and started chemo last week.  

I figure this is a battle that will require a good army of support.  

And a good sense of humor.

I'd love to connect with anyone else who might be in my area to share notes on what works and what doesn't.
