One year post treatment - side effects

Hello, I am one year post treatment for early stage invasive bc & my oncologist at the BC Cancer Agency has prescribed 5 years of Tamoxifen. Almost immediately I started getting joint stiffness and unexplained bruising. Those side effects have recently gotten worse and I've now developed arthritis in both hips and back. My oncologist does not feel that these conditions are related to the drug ... but I'm convinced they are. Has anyone else experienced these side effects? How did you manage them? Appreciate hearing your insights. I'm also having the usual hot flashes and disrupted sleep.

I'm taking Arimidex but if you check out some of the threads related to either Tamoxifen or an AI, many of us experience similar side effects. For some reason, many one's refuse to believe it but women say as soon as they go off the drugs they start to feel better. There will be others who respond who will have more details than I do but for sure, there are related se's
