Questions about returning to work after cancer?

Hello all....I have a couple of questions about returning to work after cancer treatment. Does my new insurance, that takes effect 30 days after hire, have to cover the rest of my reconstruction, medications etc or will it be preexisting? Also would like to know if I get married and change to his insurance will that affect my reconstruction plans too? I plan to have exchange next year. Any info on this subject is appreciated.

As long as you do not let more than 60 days lapse between group health insurance plans, there are no pre-existing conditions. This is now part of Federal law, what some people call "Obama Care."
