9 year old Brooklyn boy

The man who killed the boy in Brooklyn lives 4 blocks from my building... my oldest son is 9. It has been a heartbreaking day for us. Cry Love and prayers to his family.

    Oh, Jackie -- how awful for you.  This story has been heartbreaking to me -- but to be living four blocks away -- ((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) to you and your family, and my heart is breaking for Leiby and his family.

    I heard about it when he was first missing and was praying for him. Jackie it must be terrifying to know how close that is.

    Oh, wow.  That is terrifying!  I cannot imagine the things that have run through your mind.  I just can't let myself go there.  (Neither should you!)

    Oh Jackie, this has happened in your communty area.  I'm so sorry you are dealing with this. There are no words for the family who lost their little treasure,  Prayers to you all that you can come togehther in support for this family, and find some healing yourselves'

    Thank you everybody! We are fine, just very sad for the family and the community. I went for bike ride last night before they found Leiby, and hundreds of people were gathered by his family's house searching for him and comforting eachother. The Hasidic community is so tight and they are deeply shaken by this.

    Please keep praying... I am moved by all of your love and concern and take comfort in it.
