Hey Rossileo!  The beaver trip sounds totally cool.  Am thinking of planning a dive trip to the Maldives for the end of the year.

Hair is getting down to shoulders, but I kept chopping it over the past two years to get rid of the curls!  Just went with a lighter brown and lots of blonde highlights.

Saw the MO two weeks ago; all's great.  Mammo and BS check up coming up in May.

AKJ - the key to moving on for me was to keep on doing what I was doing before and not sweat the small stuff.

Thanks everyone. I'm planning my life post cancer and you're inspiring me. I love traveling and being out in nature. Looking at 6 weeks of radiation after TC.

I just had my 6 month mammo yesterday. All clear. I have to stay on 6 month checks since I am BRCA1

Rossileo: sounds like you have a wonderful summer scheduled

AKJ: Woo Hoo!  Femara is not bad. I have had a little joint pain, that's all. Just keep exercising. Keep living life!

I went snow skiing in February and tore my ACL. It has taken two months to get over that incident. I am back to full workouts now. I have decided not to have surgery. I will just give up snow skiing. I can still walk, jog, and lift weights. I am still waiting for results of my blood work. I see my MO on 4/29.

I am wondering if any of you are still out there and "lurking" on these boards.

We are coming up on 6 years from diagnosis.

    Hey, Ladyboss,

I check the boards from time to time. No word from Anna (Rossileo18) since April 2016. She had a recurrence, went stage IV, and I think lost her battle.

I'm 6 years since diagnosis (May 31), still taking anastrozole, and doing fine.

    How is everyone else?

I knew that Anna had a recurrence, but I was hoping that treatments were working for her. I lurk on the boards so see if I can offer any suggestions. My 6 years was on 6/2. I am off all cancer drugs. I did the breast cancer index test that showed that I had a low chance of recurrence through year 10 and that Lexatrole wasn't really doing me any good. I had a prophylactic mastectomy a little over a year ago. I decided I did not want to take the chance of it coming back in the breasts. I am BRCA1, so that was highly likely.

I have not heard from anyone else, but I am so glad to hear from you. Sounds like you are doing great.
