3rd opinion

Anyone know of a great place for a 3rd opinion????  I am in the Michigan area.  Willing to travel somewhat. Just didn't know if there is one place better than another.

Shari, have you had an opinion from an NCI-designated cancer center?  Here's a list of them:

They tend to see the most bc, so have the most experience.  And since they're the places doing the research, they're up on the latest information and changes in protocol.  They're not phased by unusual pathologies or situations because chances are they've come across it before.  And, according to the U.S. News & World Report rankings of medical facilities, many of them have better patient outcomes.  My tx started out at a highly esteemed local hospital, but I thank God I got a second opinion and ended up at UCLA because my course of tx changed significantly when I did.
