DCIS with lobular shaped ends

I forgot to ask this.  My new oncologist was not as concerned about the DCIS stage 0, but said there were lobular like structures at the ends of the milk ducts.  This concerned her the most.  Has anyone else had this?  What is it? She did not say it was lobular carcinoma.

Thanks again,

Agada

My DCIS had that.... no biggie, just another way to describe what the pathologist saw.  At least that was how it was explained to me.

I had an MRI and the doctor who read it said there was a suspicious area of LCIS large enough to be seen along with microcalcifications.  He said to follow up with a biopsy.  This was done on a cyst 7 months later.  My new oncologist said this was an area that would have worried her.  I have since had bilateral mastectomies so am probably safe, I think.  I was diagnosed with DCIS only but the lobular like structures on the ends of the milk ducts were enlarged.  Can that happen?  sorry to harp on the subject.
