Is anyone else taking Decadron while on radiation therapy to help with swelling? My onc put me on a really high dose last week, but now took me down to 4mgs 3x a day because of the side effects of muscle weakness. ( I can barely hold a pencil) What kinds of doses do you all get? I only weigh 120 pounds, and I think this med is way too strong. I'd like to talk him down even more.
Have any of you experienced side effects from this, and what kinds of dosages have you tried?
