I PM'd Apple to tell her she was getting lots of support here and to say how much we love her.

I see the moderators are locking some threads now and hope the new rules will all come into effect and end these extreme threads and calm things down.

Peace and harmony would be nice.

apple: i just re read the last page. please dont think my whole sad and sorry post was directed at you only the first part, but any more spacing would have made it huger than it already was. i had read your opinion on sp's in the complaints forum and assumed the aust reference there was being bought up here too...i need a chill pill...you are a strong and funny woman, i only want people to feel free to discuss what they want to discuss, and in so doing, i think the sock puppet industry would go out of business (its the last time im saying it)

I started this thread. By Saying,"Like Vitamin D and eating greens and vegetables. And NOT Chemo and Radiation and these other treatments. That kill." I stand by this comment. I am not depending on the soon bankrupt Medical Industrial Complex to "cure" me. I'm going to cure, myself. By eating right.

As I enjoy, right now, my Kale/Chard/Banana/Kiwi smoothie. Delicious. After my FOCC this morning and my 10,000 IU's of D3 and the COQ10.

    Ang7 ... what?

The surgery did cure both of my cancers. I've stated that. I refused all further treatments, beyond the surgery. And 5/7 years later no cancer.

    What are you referring to.

I think she is saying that it is not the "Vitamin D or leafy greens or FOCC" that saved you.  It was the surgery.  At least you both agree on that point.

A percentage of people will progress and another percentage will not.  Whether you've had conventional treatments, alternative, complementary, they don't guarantee anything.

Being cancer free is not proof of anything as it can come back any time, even 30 years later if you're still alive then.  What we need is a tool to show whether it's still hibernating or growing somewhere so we can either celebrate and get on with our lives without the threat hanging over our heads, or continue with treatment, whatever is right for us.  Then we'd have a smaller group of women to assess different treatments, whether conventional or otherwise, with more confidence.   As it is we are subject to such statistically small differences in results that it doesn't give people confidence in the treatments.  I believe it's this uncertainty that causes a lot of the fear and division.

Please researchers and funding organisations, give us a proper test to give us peace of mind and cut out the tremendous costs both financial, emotional and health wise from unnecessary harsh treatments and worry.

so true JLW...it is the ongoing stress and question marks that are so hard to live with..a close friend of mine died on tuesday, surfing in queensland...and we all thought i was next, and all feeling sorry for me, life is ironic, if nothing else....

leia:..do you do anything else in your treatment plan? exercise increases survival, and is my goal, though i struggle to motivate myself.

So sorry thats-life-.  Life sucks sometimes.  I hope you have plenty of support.

To all, I've been teary since I came on this thread today, read the angry words and couldn't find Luan. This is not like me.  It's so sad to see women so angry and defensive.  I worry about how BC is affecting them and whether they have other worries that are troubling them.

Please, no more provocative posts.  Take a deep breath and think before posting.  Expressing anger tends to boomerang back and hurt the originator.  Go for a run or use a punching bag if it helps.

    Peace to all.

thanks JLW..i have the funeral tomorrow, at the cemetery where i want to be buried, so it will be confronting..so sad, suzieq probably saw it on the news in qld...maybe i am angry..i will take that chill pill, and find a punching bag somewhere..it is the trivial sh**t that goes on here, as you more kindly expressed, that seems such a waste of time. x

When i was first DX a couple of years ago i was scared s....less i was so scared and didnt know where to turn, because Dr's dont tell you all the facts, and my friends and family didn't have a clue, somehow i found this forum  and i thank god every day i did, it got me through all my dark days, because there were kind loving woman who helped me through it and cheered me on letting me know that, yes chemo was tough and hard but doable, and how i would get through it, it helped me so much,it made me feel like ok, all these woman here must know what they are talking about because they have gone through it and yet  here they are, some lots of years later doing good and surviving, i knew then i could do this, because even though i had been taking vitamins up the yang-yang, ate fruits and vegetables, excercised and did everything i thought was heathy for me, it was going to take a lot more than any herbs or vitamins to save me, because i had already been there done that, i started this healthy kick a couple of years before i was dx with bc because my daughter who had just barely just  turned 30 was dx with bc, so i knew i had to be there for her so i even quit smoking so i could be in the best health i i possibly could for her, my point in all of this is, had i first came here and saw a thread like this one about how chemo kills and all the bickering i would of ran for the hills and cryed my eyes out thinking, wow there is nothing left for me to do or try, because i had tryed it all already, and would of missed out on the the great support and advice and friends i made along the way, and even though i read about the pros and cons of tx's, it was ok  because it was in a civil way and i made my choice knowing it was the right one for ME, so leia, if you are truly here to help and not cause problems you may want to change your wording on your topic. so woman who come here arent so petrified by your post, because there is no proof chemo kills and no proof vitamins and herbs save lives
