URGENT HELP PLEASE!!!!

Okay, so I have been on herceptin since December 2010 and have had no problems.  On June 24 I had my radiation and herceptin went home and developed a fever,  I took motrin every 6 hours and the fever would go down only as low as 100.3.  After a weeked of hell, my onco had me see a cancer gp who order cultures and a cbc, everything was fine, even the wbc.  they said I had a mild uti so they put me on bactrum. by tuesday I was feeling okay.  On friday July 1 I had my last rads and went to breakfast and went home and the fever came back, suffered all weeked, because on call onco didn't think i needed to go to er, on tuesday(yesterday) I called my reguar onco and they said i had to go to er. spent 9 hours there and they called it fever unknow origin. went home had fever all night, call onco again, they called an infectious disease doc and they made me go to the hosptial.  the only thing I have is the fever, NOTHING else.  The ID doc said maybe it could the herceptin which i doubt

Hi Geogal----I took Herceptin for a year, and never experienced a fever. But I didn't do radiation and have no experience in that area. Maybe someone will come along soon with the same symptoms. Maybe it's just a viral thing that antibiotics will take care of. Seems like there's always something to worry about, huh??

HI THERE!

Please don't freak out. The fever 'watch"  is to deterine if we're at risk for infection.I ran low grade fevers: 100.2-5 and the cause was never known. I am out 6 yrs and all is good.

Just watch it doesn't go higher.. It all goes with the territory.

I need to clarify, my fevers have been contnious for two weeks and raging high, my WBC has been fine cultures were fine too

geogal....I was also on Herceptin when I had my radiation. Didn't get any fever
