I read an article about a study the other day and now I can't find it anywhere, it's been on my mind since I read it...I should have saved it :(  It read that they are using ER to treat ER+ bc.  It said, that if the original ER+ bc mets and with tx they see no improvement then they have showed that giving ER confuses the bc and shows improvement.  It makes sense to me, my onc told me from the beginning that bc can adapt and change itself to fit it's new enviroment so, if it learns to not use ER then it would make sense that it would confuse to use it again.  I pray none of us ever have to use this info but just curious if anyone else had heard of it...I love that we are slowly figuring out this beast  :)
