I't's been 4 1/2 years since my stage 2b breast cancer. I am currently taking Arimidex and I've also been on  Zometa for prevention of recurrance for 3 years now.  My onc will no longer prescribe Zometa since the women who were on Zometa study took it for only 3  years. I had grade 3 tumor with one positive node. I really don't feel comfortable getting off zometa. Have any of you who've had early stage breast cancer been on Zometa more than 3 years?
